What a coding agent should never do without asking
We keep a short list of things Hearth must always ask about. Here it is, and why each one is on it.

When we started building Hearth we wrote two lists on a whiteboard. The first was everything a coding agent could do. The second, much shorter, was what it should do without asking. This post is about the gap.
Anything outside the project
Your project folder is the workspace. Reading or writing anywhere else, including your home folder and your shell settings, needs a yes each time.
Anything that cannot be undone
Deleting a branch, force-pushing, dropping a table. If we cannot show you how to undo it, we ask.
Anything that spends money or sends messages
Publishing a package, emailing a customer, starting a cloud machine. Hearth will draft it and show you. You press the key.
