[ RELEASE NOTES ]
Sessions you can resume
Close the terminal in the middle of a task and pick it up tomorrow, with the plan and every approval still in place.
Until now, closing the terminal ended the session. In 2.4 Hearth writes a small session file into your project as it works. Run hearth resume and it reopens the same task, with the plan, the files it has read and the approvals you have already given.
What is saved
The plan, the list of files read, the edits so far and your approvals. Nothing is saved that you did not see on screen. The file lives in a hidden folder in your project and is ignored by your version control by default.
What is not saved
Secrets. Anything Hearth recognises as a key or a token is left out of the session file and asked for again on resume.
